It depends on how many cameras you need, the specification, the recorder and storage, and how difficult the cabling run is. Most homes need three to six cameras. You will get a written, itemised price before anything is ordered, and there is never a charge for the initial recommendation.

What do I actually get for free?

A written recommendation based on what you tell us: the type of coverage we would suggest for your property, the sort of system that suits it, and the questions we would need answered to price it properly. A firm quotation and a detailed camera layout normally need either photographs or a site visit, which we will arrange only if you want to go further.

Do I need Wi-Fi or broadband?

The system records locally, so recording continues if your internet connection drops. Broadband is only needed if you want to view the cameras remotely on your phone, which most people do.

How long does an installation take?

A typical residential installation is completed in a single day. Larger commercial systems or properties with long cable runs may take two days. We tidy up fully before we leave.

Will you drill through my walls?

Cables need routing, so some drilling is normally involved. We plan the neatest possible path first and always agree it with you before starting. Cabling is clipped, trunked or concealed so the finish looks deliberate.

Can I view the cameras on my phone?

Yes. Systems are set up with a mobile app before we leave, and we walk you through playback, alerts and exporting a clip so you are confident using it.

Will I be able to read number plates or recognise faces?

Sometimes, but nobody can honestly promise it. Whether a plate or face is identifiable depends on distance, camera specification, lens choice, lighting, weather and how fast the subject is moving. We plan positions to give you the best realistic chance at the points that matter, and we will tell you where identification is unlikely.

Is CCTV legal at a domestic property?

Yes. If your cameras capture anything beyond your own boundary you take on responsibilities under UK data protection law. We set privacy masks where appropriate and explain in plain terms what your system covers — that is practical guidance, not a guarantee of legal compliance.

What happens after I submit the form?

We reply by the method you chose — email or text — with our initial recommendation and any questions we need answered. If you want to go further we will arrange a survey. If not, that is the end of it. No sales calls.
